M Designs

"Peace"
This design is from the 2004 Just Cross-Stitch Ornaments Magazine Issue. The silk thread is from Thread Gatherer, but I don't know the name of the color because I lost the tag. The fabric is 32-count Lugana in a color I don't know because it wasn't labeled. The beads are Mill Hill in just a reddish tone that matched. :) I stitched this to exchange with my friend Lisa for our ornie exchange this year. It took about five hours to stitch, in November 2004.

"L"
This design is part of M Designs Stylized Alphabet Series. You buy the letters in pairs of two; this L is paired with K. I stitched it in Caron Collection Silk Waterlilies in Olive, which is a very muted green blend. It is stitched on 32-count Evenweave fabric from Zweigart in Antique White. It's just about five and a half inches square. Total stitching time was about 15 hours, on four stitching days in March 2004. This is stitched for my friend, Lisa. Lisa saw my stitched T, and asked for a green L. :)

"T"
This design is part of M Designs Stylized Alphabet Series. You buy the letters in pairs of two; this T is paired with S. I stitched it in Gentle Art Sampler Threads in Cranberry, on 28-count Cashel Linen from Zweigart in Willow Green. It's just about six inches square. I used a few threads over a full skein of floss. It is framed with a suede mats cut by my friend Lisa, and framed in a 12" gold frame. It hangs in my red bathroom in our house. Total stitching time was about 15 hours, on four stitching days spread out over three weeks in February 2004.
