Candy Cane Santa

I stitched this a couple of years ago but didn't get around to the finishing until October 2012. I thought it was such a charming canvas. Finished with a flat green silk back and green cording.

Wee little Nutcracker

Little nutcracker I stitched in three days - August 2009. I used pearl cotton, Kreinik metallics, dmc floss, overdyed floss from Weeks Dye Works and The Dye is Cast, Rainbow Gallery Impressions and Silk N Ivory. I finished it into an ornament in December 2009.

Santa's Got a Brand New Purple Bag

I stitched this in November 2006.  It took me a while because I've been busy and haven't had much stitching time!  The beard alone took about three hours for all those french knots.  :)  I finished it as a standup with a flat base in December 2006.  Backing fabric is blue velvet, cording is custom made.

Threads used are:

Caron Snow - 03 Sky Blue for the stars

Rainbow Gallery Silk & Cream BG37 Teal for the coat hem and hat cuff

Needle Necessities 195 Purple for the bag

Rainbow Gallery Splendor S1098 bronze for the skin

Rainbow Gallery Fuzzy Stuff FZ15 white for the snow

Rainbow Gallery Neon Rays 90 white for the white details

Rainbow Gallery Very Velvet 201 Black for the boot trim

Felicity's Garden 001 Snow for the beard and mustache

Thread Gatherer 015 Robin Egg Blue for the ground

Weeks Dye Works 2223 Saffron for the yellow stars

Kreinik 002 Medium #16 braid for the big star stripes and the gold on the bag

Dragon Floss 20 Ice Pink for the cheeks

Kreinik Silk Mori 5057 for the Diamond Eyelet sky

Needle Necessities 1532 Red for the coat
