Victoria Sampler

This is the November needleroll from Victoria Sampler.  I started this sometime in 2009, stitched on it for a couple of hours, then forgot about it.  (oops)  I found it again yesterday and went ahead and finished it.  Very sweet!  I gave it to Victoria to put in her dresser.

February Needleroll

I stitched this in April and July 2007.  It took about eight hours to stitch.  I plan on filling it with lavender and making it into a needleroll.  It is a birthday present for my mother, Linda.  This is a kit design, so all the threads and fabrics are the recommended items.

"July Needleroll"

I stitched this in July 2005.  It took about six hours to stitch.  I filled it with lavender and made it into a needleroll.  It is a birthday present for my mother-in-law, Diane.  This is a kit design, so all the threads and fabrics are the recommended items.

"White Christmas"

I modified this design to be the birth sampler of my next baby, which is due in January 2006.  It is stitched on 32-count White Belfast, with DMC floss and pearl cotton, Kreinik brad (silver #4) and blending filament (pearl).  There is also some medici wool and SJ designs beads.  It took two days to stitch this in May 2005.  I told my husband I was pregnant by starting this sampler and asking him what he thought about it.  :)

"Crimson Fire Sampler"
I modified this sampler to make it into a wedding sampler for my little brother, Luke, and his wife, Nikki. It took about three days. It's stitched on 32-count white Lugana, with DMC, Kreinik metallics (four kinds!), Caron Waterlilies, Watercolours, and pearl cottons. The gold beads are Mill Hill, the red and white ones are SJ Designs Pearls. Three little hearts from Access Commodoties. It says "Luke and Nicole Hansen", "Bellevue, WA Temple", and "July 15th, 2004". Red is her favorite color. :)

"Summer Dreams Sampler"
I modified this sampler to make it into a birth sampler for my younger daughter, Madeline. It says "Hallie Madeline Truswell", then "7 pounds 4 ounces - 19 inches", then "December 3, 2003 - Seattle, WA". It took about three days. It's stitched on 32-count white Lugana, with DMC, Kreinik metallics (three kinds!), YLI Silk Ribbon, Wool Thread, and pearl cottons. The gold beads are Mill Hill, the white ones are SJ Designs Pearls. Very pretty!

"Crystal Waters Sampler"
This design is part of the Four Elements Series. It is stitched on 28-count Quaker linen in white, using DMC floss, DMC pearl cotton, DMC cordonet thread, Caron Collection Waterlilies, DMC flower thread, Kreinik braid, Mill Hill seed beads, pearls, and SJ Designs beads. I stitched this in March 2004. It took about three days. I really think it's pretty, and have added it to the growing pile of finished projects in the storage tub. There is can play with all it's friends.

"March Needleroll"
I stitched this needleroll design from a kit. It's on the recommended fabrics with the required DMC and Kreinik flosses. I stitched this in March 2004, and it took two days. Very pretty!
